How to go to Montpellier:

  • By train to Montpellier:

    Montpellier is served by two train stations: “Montpellier Saint-Roch” and “Montpellier Sud de France”.

    Both stations are major stops on France’s high-speed TGV network.

    By TGV (bullet train) you can travel directly from Montpellier to Paris (both city center and Paris CDG Airport terminal) or other major cities in the West Europe (Brussels, Barcelona, Lyon, Lille…)

    Intercity (IC) trains link Montpellier to other key French cities such as Marseille, Bordeaux and Toulouse.

    Regional Trains (TERconnect Montpellier to smaller towns and cities in the area, making it easy to explore the Occitanie region.

  • Arriving at the airport: the easiest is to buy on-line tickets for the small Totoom busses (10€) or to take an UBER or BOLT at the airport.
    Alternatively but rather complicated, you can take the shuttle to Place de l'Europe and then tram lines 1 and 3 to Pérols (Étang de l'Or; terminus) and change to busline 1 (Transp'Or) (several euros, every 30 minutes at daytime  and every hour after 19h45; get out at the stop Hôtel de Ville very close to the Phare).
    Another possibility is to take the airport shuttle (line 620) to get to Montpellier city centre: the shuttle arrives at Place de l'Europe , in the Antigone district. Journey time: approximately 15 minutes. Then  take the TAM tram line 4 (without the A) towards Montpellier Léon Blum and get off at the Garcia Lorca stop. From the Garcia Lorca stop, take  bus line 631  towards Palavas-les-Flots and get off at the Salle Bleue stop. The last bus 631 on Sunday is at 18h35 (only one bus each hour)
  • Arriving at the railway station 'Montpellier - Sud de France: on-line tickets for the small Totoom busses (10€).
    Alternatively you can take tram line 1 towards Mosson and get off at the Port Marianne stop. Then take the TAM tram line 3 towards Pérols Étang de l'Or and get off at the “Étang de l'Or” stop in Pérols. From there, take line 1 Transp'Or and get off at the Hôtel de Ville stop in Palavas-les-Flots very close to the Phare.
  • Arriving at the railway station 'Montpellier - St-Roch': take tramline 3 to Pérols (Étang de l'Or; terminus) and then change to busline 1 (Transp'Or) (several euros, every 30 minutes at daytime  and every hour after 19h45; get out at the stop Hôtel de Ville very close to the Phare).

Registration

The registration desk at the conference center will be open from 4pm to 6:30 pm on Sunday, starting from 8:00 am Monday and from 8:30 am from Tuesday to Friday.

Welcome Reception

19:00 Welcome Reception (La Plage des Lézards). For those who do not wish to walk, shuttle busses will be available from the conference center from 6 to 7 pm and from 9 to 10 pm for the return journey. For those who will arrive directly at the welcome reception, it will be possible to collect your badges at la Plage des Lézards.
