The call for 2026 EHPRG Award is open and invite your nominations. The EHPRG Award is awarded annually to a promising young scientist or engineer in high-pressure science and technology. Their work should mostly have been carried out at a European research institution (or several), but nominees do not need to be citizens of a European country. Nominations (and self-nominations) from all fields of high-pressure research are welcome, where high pressure is here defined to mean above 1000 bar (100 MPa).
Nomination rules for the EHPRG Award and the nomination form can be found on the EHPRG website at https://www.ehprg.org/award.php. The nomination deadline is Tuesday, 31st March 2026 and nominations must be received by 23:59 (CET, Central Europe Time).
The Award comes with a 750 € prize and will be presented to the winner during the 63rd EHPRG Meeting, which will be held in Palavas-les-Flots, Montpellier, France, 23-28 August 2026 (chairs: Julien Haines and Jérôme Rouquette).
At the same event, the Award winner will present an Award lecture.
